- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆We have had a MAJOR FELONY committed to us, and have had just the BIG run around over this. We approached the county attorney, and assigned a ASSISTANT attorney who told us to get a police report. WE DID...It was not good enough for them, said they needed more information. Went back to the shepherdsville police department for more info. Learned it was no longer the cops job, and was turned over to an investigator. He has not done much either! After THREE contacts with the assistant attorney, and the shepherdsville detective, and after compiling paperwork that shows that a identify theft has occurred resulting in over $21,000 , with the guilty party admitting guilt, NOTHING has been done! We can't get any police, assistant county attorney, detectives, or ANY official to even return our calls! There is no way to reach the actual County attorney. IF I stole $21,000 I would be in jail A.S.A.P, So my question is WHY this not a big deal to our County Attorney? It's a BIG deal to US! I feel that the County attorney is not doing the job, when such a major crime is committed, and nothing is done! Should an attorney be used to fight County attorney's to get any fairness in this? Why doesn't the Shepherdsville police, the detective, or the County attorney take this seriously ? After all it's only $21,000 STOLEN! What? Not important enough? Who is REALLY in control? I'll bet if it was one of them, the person responsible would be in jail the next day! WHERE IS THE JUSTICE, I ASK YOU! We are poor people, just trying to survive. $21,000 is our EVERYTHING!
